RoadstaB is a Green Technology

The RoadstaB methodology is a modern and innovative approach. We are specialists in Road Stabilization and Asphalt Rejuvenation technologies. We create monolithic structures like concrete roads, rigid pavement and flexible pavements.

Road stabilization is often confused with soil stabilization. Soil stabilization strengthens the sub grade soil to increase the bearing capacity, whereas road Stabilization is strengthening of road base and sub-base. The Idea behind the creation of load-bearing bases with soil is to decrease the crust thickness, as being introduced recently in IRC-37- 2012 by the Ministry of Road Highway and Transport. Soil stabilization is the strengthening of the subgrade soil to increase the bearing capacity. The soil stabilization technology for road construction provided by RoadstaB is worth your attention. In the Indian subcontinent, this technology can be applied in all climates, from Ladakh to Kanyakumari, to Gujarat and Assam. The RoadstaB product line has no analogue in the world for its combination of performance-high physical and mechanical properties of stabilized soils, frost and water resistance, economy in raw materials and processes, and 100% eco-friendliness. Formulated in laboratories and proven in Russia’s toughest conditions, the RoadstaB team helps create reliable and eco-friendly infrastructure.

RoadstaB Technology solutions

New Alignment – Construction of New Road

RoadstaB stalized impermeable layer is laid as a sub-base layer on a prepared sub-grade. Crack relief layer (WMM/SAMI) is laid over the stabilized structure. Asphalt layer acts as a wear course over the crack relief layer.

  • Decrease construction time up-to 50%
  • Decreases crust thickness 20-30%.
  • Enhances Durability 4 times than the Conventional method
  • 20-30% Cost savings against Conventional Methodology.

FDR(FULL DEPTH RECLAMATION)

FDR (Full Depth Reclamation) is an in-place recycling method for reconstruction of existing flexible pavements with the use of existing pavement section material as the base for the new roadway-wearing surface. As part of this process, the addition of chemicals to the base layer can increase the strength of the base layer. Treatment of the base layer and recycled asphalt provides a stronger foundation for traffic now and into the future. The process generates cost-effective solutions that maximise limited budgets.

Chemically treated base section provides engineering advantages that serve as a foundation for the new wear surface. These benefits include higher unconfined compressive strength than the previous unbound aggregate base material, and lower permeability of the treated base which reduces the influence of water, the main reason for premature pavement failures. Stabilization of the reclaimed pavement can be done by mechanical, chemical, or bituminous means.

Widening of existing road with existing material

No inert material is required for Base and sub-base layer. All material of the existing structure reclaimed to full depth. All reclaimed material of the existing laid structure is reused for the total width of the new structure.

Milled asphalt with base layer is mixed with RoadstaB compound for the formation of stabilized base layer. By using this methodology only new wearing course shall be provided, all other structural layers can be reused with better Physio-Mechanical Properties.

Reconstruction of flexible pavement to rigid pavement

Existing material of Asphalt and base layer of flexible pavement will be reused to fullest to make a RoadstaB Stabilized impermeable base for PQC. Existing GSB remains undisturbed for its functionality; the PQC layer can be placed directly over the RoadstaB layer.

Benefit:

  • No Hauling.
  • More Stable base for PQC
  • 100% Reuse of existing material.
  • 30-40% Cost saving
